Red, White & Blueberry Cheesecake Dip

A five-minute, no-bake dessert dip that does all the patriotic heavy lifting without asking you to turn on the oven.

Need a Fourth of July treat that looks festive but doesn't require turning your kitchen into a baking competition? This red, white, and blueberry cheesecake dip is sweet, simple, and perfect for BBQs, pool parties, or a snack table that needs a little sparkle.

The base comes together in one bowl with a hand mixer — no crust, no oven, no springform pan. Once it's spread onto a platter, fresh strawberries and blueberries do the decorating, giving you that red-white-and-blue look with almost no effort.

Ring-pattern styling: Spread the dip on a round platter, then build it in rings from the outside in — cookies around the rim, sliced strawberries just inside that, and a cluster of blueberries filling the center. It's festive, easy, and just dramatic enough to earn a compliment before the fireworks start.

The Recipe

MethodNo-Bake

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened (⅓-less-fat works well)
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • Fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Fresh blueberries

For Dipping

  • Graham crackers
  • Vanilla wafers
  • Pretzels
  • Extra strawberries
  • Gluten-free cookies

Instructions

  1. Beat the softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until smooth, about a minute. Add the salt, sugar, lemon zest, and vanilla, and beat again until fully combined.
  2. With the mixer still running, slowly stream in the heavy cream along the side of the bowl. Keep beating on high until the mixture turns thick and fluffy — you want it holding a clean trail when you pull a spatula through it.
  3. Spread the mixture onto a large serving plate or shallow dish in an even layer, leaving a small border around the edge.
  4. Pat the sliced strawberries dry with a paper towel so they don't bleed color into the dip.
  5. Arrange the strawberries and blueberries on top in whatever pattern you like — a center star, side-by-side stripes, or the flag-corner layout described above.
  6. Chill briefly if you're not serving right away, and add any cookie or cracker dippers around the edge just before serving so they stay crisp.

Serving Tips

Fresh fruit is best added right before serving so the colors stay vibrant and the blueberries don't bleed into the base. If you're making the dip ahead, prepare and chill the cheesecake layer on its own, then add the berries and any cookie dippers just before guests arrive.
